この頃はアリーの映画の歌をよく歌っていて、レディー・ガガさんの曲も色々と聞いていました。その中で気になった一つがこの曲です。

たった一つだけの理由さえあれば
Million reasonsの歌詞は、とても女性らしい目線を感じます。
自分の解釈ですが、別れを切り出されてそれに納得がいかない、あなたを愛していると足掻いているようなイメージをこの歌には持ってしまいます。それでも歌にすると、美しい女性の繊細な気持ちを表したものになっていると感じます。レディーガガの歌の魅力でもあると思います。
そして、英語に慣れていない耳で聞くからかもしれません。
歌詞の解釈はそれぞれですが、これを歌うときは「縋る」というより「どれだけの理由があっても私はあなたを愛している」という深い愛情を表現すると素敵な歌になると思いました。
皮肉な言い方をすれば美化しているように歌うわけですが、動画の私はその感情を乗せて歌えていませんね。笑
歌詞を追うのに必死になってしまう。
歌の解釈、理解も大事ですが、まずは音程とリズムと曲の解釈を先にしっかり身につけるべきですね。
英語に慣れていない口だから尚更です。
